We had a lovely evening at Folklore Village's German tree night. First, an amazing potluck meal with a room full of around 80 friends and strangers. Then, we all worked to put away the tables, chairs and dishes before taking real candles and decorating the 21 foot evergreen tree in the center of the dance floor(with use of ladders). We sang carols by candlelight in the cozy space, some laying under the tree. Dancing came next, still by candlelight, with the help of an expert leader. Lovely time.
